Description We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic senior developer to work within the Software Development Team. We are looking for a self-starting individual with the ability to deal with accelerated learning and build high quality software within an agile environment.

As a member of the dynamic and innovative Digital, Data & Technology Department, you will work with colleagues in the Software Development Team supporting the delivery of projects that form part of the digital platform, as well as integration projects, to allow data to be shared between national, Health Board wide and departmental systems.

The role will allow you to build on your current skills and experience and provide you with opportunities for personal and professional development. You will work with a wide range of stakeholders from varying professions across the health board. You should have significant and demonstrable experience in the following areas:

- Application development using C# within the .NET framework using .Net Core, ASP.Net Web API and MVC.

- Windows Service development

- HL7 V2, FHIR & other messaging standards

- TSQL and application development using Microsoft SQL Server

- Proven application and understanding of OOP and SOLID principles

Experience in the following areas would be advantageous:

- Team Foundation Server / Azure DevOps

- Front-end design (UI/UX)

- Mobile development

- Experience of working in an Agile environment

- .Net Core Identity

- Entity Framework and LINQ

- RESTful Web Api design

- You must be able to be part of the team on-call rota
